Dinraal is a one-of-a-kind creature in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It’s a massive, fiery sky dragon that flies over Hyrule in a long, circuitous route hasienda. Learn Dinraal’s path in TotK, tips for landing on it, and what materials it drops with this enemy guide.

Official Description: «A spirit of fire has taken the form of this giant dragon. Making its home in the Eldin region. It’s said to have served the Spring of Power since ancient times. The flames that coat its body can make the surrounding area blazing hot, but Dinraal bears no ill will toward people. Few have seen it in the current age.»

Dinraal flies around the outer areas of the Death Mountain, circling East Akkala, North Akkala Beach, Akkala Wilds, Skull Lake, Eldin’s Flank, Darunia Lake, and Thyphlo Ruins. Then, the dragon descends to the Depths, and re-emerges from the East Akkala Plains chasm. The path of the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom fire dragon, Dinraal, covers the northeast of Hyrule. The creature emerges from the East Akkala Plains Chasm, then follows the coast to the northeast. As it approaches the Akkala Sea, it turns west and follows a more-or-less straight path into Deep Akkala. It follows the edge of the map around Skull Lake and onward around Eldin Mountains. It goes back underground through the Drenan Highlands Chasm, just west of Typhlo Ruins. Dinraal then takes the same path but in the other direction. It takes about forty-eight in-game hours for the cycle to finish. We’ve marked the whole path Dinraal takes on the surface below. Needless to say, like with all other dragons, the easiest times to jump onto its back are when it’s either rising from the underground or going back down.

You can do this by waiting on the head of the dragon, and the good news is that it won’t knock you off. Dragons glow every ten real-world minutes, so be patient, and once it does glow, you’ll be able to get all materials, such as a Horn, Spike, Claw, and Scale!

In addition, it is important to note that you can farm only one item from these dragons at once, and then you have to wait for some time before you can get another item again. So, remember that you have to be patient and strategic when farming items from Dinraal.

If you’re searching for a dragon along their flight path but don’t see them on the surface, it’s likely that the dragon is in the Depths. As part of their flight path, Farosh, Naydra, and Dinraal will fly in and out of chasms within their corresponding region. The Light Dragon, however, can always be found on the surface.

He travels through space and time, stealing items from different realities and from time periods and leaving behind a calling card and a portrait of the Eclipse.

Once you get to the Eclipsed State, head towards the big building in the middle and find the staircase leading underground. Be careful as there are several hostile NPCs that will come your way. As you continue your way, you will reach a hall with an eclipsed moon statue at its center. There is a good chance you will see the Dealer here with his white robe.

Both the Dealer and Kado Throne are located at the Eclipsed Estate POI. As recommended for any challenge in Fortnite, it is best to first find some good weapons and have some shields before facing these enemies. Make sure to have some Business Turrets, the new items added to the game. And be careful of your surroundings since many other players may want to complete this challenge and decide to eliminate you on their way as well.
